A nice week for a change.

The past few days have been spent recovering and rejoicing in some time off of work without my head feeling like it's going to explode.

It's been a rather enjoyable few days at that. I finally got the bigger hard drive into my computer and got the AMD box set up with Ubuntu Linux, something I'm finding almost nice enough to consider moving over to Linux on my main box for.

I've also put some time into gaming, playing a little Soul Calibur III and Dragon Quest VII. Whoever made the AI for SC should be taken in the back yard and beaten to a bloody pulp, because that game is hard. I actually had to take out my old Mortal Kombat game and play it a bit just to make sure I didn't somehow fall into the suck zone for fighting games.

Dragon Quest has been a lot more fun. I've just started playing so it will have to wait before I know if the AI in this game is going to beat me like a schoolgirl or not.

The rest of my time has been spent playing on the internet just spinning around to different sites, and talking to Rachel on every medium we can find, including a phone conversation that somehow lasted longer than it took me to read War and Peace. She's been an incredible pick me up with all the shit at work and home.

This is the first time in a while I've actually felt like doing something other than lollygagging about. Let's hope it continues.

Hours should last longer. It seems like they're here and then they're gone. I'm getting ripped off.

Re: Dragon Quest - You're missing an I, and the AI makes you its bitch after you get the boat. Fair warning, unless you're more 1337 than I, which is pretty much assumed.
