Goal: Get a job.

While I'd love to throw up a jubilant entry today, it's just not going to happen. I've finished my 43 Things goal of "Get a job" as I start today, however I remain just as far from the "Get a job I enjoy" goal. Honestly going back to this job feels like a failure more than a success. As though I'm giving up on my dream by going back to the company that made me a horribly miserable person 2 years ago. While It is definitely something I need to do and something that will help substantially in the end, I can't help but feel like it's a huge step backwards.

At least the bills will get paid on time I suppose. I'm determined to make the best of it and somehow turn this into a good thing. Maybe setting aside enough money from my two workplaces to purchase a dependable vehicle would allow me to get a more fitting place of employment while I wait for my 15 minutes of intarweb fame to reset itself and make me rich.

The big deal for me is maintaining my internet related jobs. It would be nice to not be so tired and aggravated when I get home that I'm not in the mood to work on anything. It will obviously slow things down but I'm going to have to work twice as hard at not letting it stop it.

As long as you keep working toward your goal, it is okay to take a step back. Keep your head up!

yeah I agree with Brea. And over the past months I have really learn that if you want something and work hard for it, you will get it. It might take a while but you will get it.

I hate stepping back. But as long as your facing forward... a step back is better than loosing your footing altogether.
